What is the difference between Cassia and Ceylon cinnamon?
Cassia cinnamon is a rich source of coumarin, a natural compound known to cause kidney, liver, and lung damage if consumed in large quantities. It may even increase the risk of cancer. Ceylon cinnamon, however, contains 225 percent less coumarin than Cassia cinnamon. In our unique, organic liquid cinnamon, coumarin amounts are undetectable. How do I store these products?

Why should you heat the CNMN up for 20 seconds?
We ask you to heat up the CNMN for 20 seconds for the following reasons:
- Heating the cinnamon liquid infuses and draws out the flavonoids and other antioxidants. Drinking it cold reduces the antioxidants and thus its health benefits.
- Hot or warm CNMN tastes better. The human body is better able to enjoy strong aromas and flavors when liquid is hot compared to cold.
- Drinking the CNMN hot or warm can lower your levels of unhealthy HDL cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, and triglycerides. The same benefits are not found when drinking iced or cold.
